Govt. needs people who are managable and under their control in all way on key administrative posts.
Kiran Bedi is not one of them .
This is not the first instant when she has been sidelined. She was posted in Tihar jail sometimes back due to same reason.
Our sustem does not go by merit. A person who fits in the system of politicians is only prefered.
As retirement age is nearby, she prefered to voluntery retirement instead of resigning.
A person with self respect is humuliated many time in such a system but it is part of game in our system.
A person can do something as long as he is in the system. Once out, an individual is not effective. We have many examples of this.
A person gets importance and becomes popular in the same system but if he tries to go fast leaving others much behind, it is not talerated though it is for good. One has to follow the rules of a teamwork.
It is definately not good to make one exit in this manner, the discredit goes to our Govt. and non rational, self centered currupt politians and other competitor beurocrats.
It is sad that we are not utilising the intellect and administrative skills of competant persons in the society if he is working according to principles and on merit in rationale and disciplined way.
How are we going to be a powerful nation in near future ?
